Animals reimagined

Let your child's imagination run wild with animal collages inspired by 20 Years of Australian Geographic Nature Photographer of the Year.

Join us during the Autumn school holidays for an unforgettable adventure at the National Archives of Australia! Explore the stunning 20 Years of Australian Geographic Nature Photographer of the Year exhibition, then unleash your child’s imagination in our interactive workshop.

This school holiday program is suitable for ages 7 to 15. Please note that all children must be accompanied by an adult.

They’ll create surreal mixed-medium collages, reimagining animals in fantastical scenarios—like frogs in top hats, lizards in space or penguins driving the school bus!

We ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, following the Commonwealth Child Safe Framework.

20 Years of the Australian Geographic Nature Photographer of the Year is a South Australian Museum exhibition supported by Australian Geographic and Dr Stuart Miller AM.
