Tocal Homestead Self Guided Tours

Tocal Homestead is open to the public on Sundays from 10am - 3pm for self-guided audio tours. Be transformed back in time as you explore our living museum and one of Australia's oldest working farms.

Tocal Homestead, nestled in the foothills of Paterson in the Hunter Valley, is steeped in rich history. It’s involvement with agriculture dates back to 1822 and has witnessed generations of farming practices and rural life, from thoroughbreds, cattle, tobacco, and more. Self-guided audio tours take approximately 2 hours to complete, but you can spend the entire day on site taking in the natural beauty! Purchase a Devonshire tea on site, cold refreshments, or bring your own picnic to enjoy under the 200 year old fig trees. Tocal Homestead stands to offer visitors a glimpse into Australia’s agricultural heritage, it is certainly worth the visit.
