Open Days: Sharing your Family History – Connecting with Your Family

Open Days, with free admission to the Family History WA (FHWA) Research Centre, is a perfect opportunity to connect with friends or family and explore together. The program theme: Sharing your Family History – Connecting with Your Family offers a range of activities to suit both novice and experienced historians:
– Sessions to kickstart research projects; Presentations that explore research tools, resources, research blocks & search techniques;
– Presentations from the wide range of special interest & project groups, & opportunities to share insights 1:1 with experienced historians;
– Guided tours of the premises, meeting room facilities, extensive library & research equipment;
– Discover projects you’d enjoy with family & friends to showcase family stories in fresh & creative ways.
