Yass Graveside Yarns

Unearth the fascinating stories of early Yass Valley residents, such as explorer Hamilton Hume, pastoralist AB Triggs, and victims of the notorious William Munday. Share in their triumphs, secrets, and scandals while strolling among their headstones in the historic Yass cemetery.

This 90-minute guided walking tour, which earned NSW Parliament recognition in 2024, will be conducted by experienced volunteers from the Yass Valley History Centre. It’s history-on-the-go, storytelling, and a few surprises along the way. Thoroughly researched, a great atmosphere and an experience not to be missed!
