‘Unearthing’ Parramatta’s Historic ‘Gems’

Join experienced tour guide and heritage tourism specialist, Kerima-Gae, on a fully guided tour by mini-bus, which can access narrow streets and lane ways, where she will 'unearth' a wealth of Parramatta's 'historical gems'.

Founded November 2nd, 1788, today Parramatta is home to many of Australia’s oldest remaining buildings, including the only 3 that date from the 1790s, plus proudly boasts many of the Nation’s ‘firsts’. An informative and lively commentary will accompany the tour which will also highlight the struggle many of the city’s historic properties are facing to survive the current surge of high-rise development.
