Step into the Unearthed Exhibition and discover untold and forgotten stories of Georges River. Running from 1 May to 25 May 2025 in the foyer of Clive James Library, Kogarah, this free exhibition showcases lesser-known histories and untold stories, through photos, posters, and newspaper articles from the Georges River Libraries Local Studies collection.

Wander through the exhibition and explore fascinating images that highlight eerie legends, strange histories, and forgotten local tales. You’ll encounter captivating images and gain insight into the magical, mysterious, and mystifying stories of our local past. Discover the unexpected side of history, from local legends like Cocky Bennett and ghostly hauntings to tales of the Minister for Murder and much more.

The exhibition is for all ages—families, history enthusiasts, and anyone curious about the strange and mystical. There is no prior experience or equipment needed to engage with the exhibition.
