The Big Picture: a small exhibition of North Sydney panoramas

This special exhibition commemorates the 150th anniversary of one of the greatest photographic achievements in Australia: the creation of the ‘Holtermann Panorama’ of Sydney Harbour by Charles Bayliss in 1875.

The display showcases original panoramic prints unearthed from Stanton Library’s historical collection, which were all made to document and celebrate the growth of Sydney or the north shore.
