Mining Unearthed at Wollondilly Heritage Centre and Museum

During the month of the festival guests can complete a passport that takes them through the history of mining in the Wollondilly Shire. The festival will conclude on 17 May with a talk on the history of the Davy Lamp by Andrew Conacher.

Two exhibitions give and extensive view on how coal mining developed in the Wollondilly Shire. A passport will direct guest to special points of information. The final event on the talk of the Davy Lamp will provide an historical connection with the lamp and mining.
