It's time to unearth the rich history all around you!
Each year the Australian Heritage Festival brings heritage to life. In 2025, the celebrations return from Friday 18 April – Sunday 18 May.
Working in partnership with event organisers from all across the state, the festival offers a diverse program of special events that uniquely showcase and celebrate our natural, built and cultural heritage.
From the city to the regions, the 2025 festival program offers unmatched access to a wide range of both free and ticketed exhibitions, tours, workshops, performances, talks, demonstrations and more.
Events happen anywhere: urban and rural locations; in museums and libraries; in boats, trains and mysterious buildings; on the street, by the water and in nature.
