Each year the Australian Heritage Festival brings heritage to life. In 2025, the celebrations return from Friday 18 April – Sunday 18 May.

Working in partnership with event organisers around the country, the Festival offers a diverse program of special events that uniquely showcase and celebrate our natural, built and cultural heritage.

The 2025 festival theme is Unearthed – revealing the past, bringing to light lesser-known histories and stories, and unearthing knowledge to empower younger generations as custodians of culture and tradition.

From rarely seen collection items, to star and moon gazing, and the unveiling of what Clarendon might have been, make sure you tour around our fantastic events this year!
