Join us for an entertaining dinner celebrating the rebirth of this cherished hotel in the heart of Pinjarra. The oldest hotel in the region has a fascinating history, starting life as a Doctor’s cottage in 1866 before becoming a stage coach inn and country hotel. Closed in 2008 and almost destroyed by the wrecking balls, it was saved by a forward-thinking shire who bought it and set about the restoration. After a lengthy search, new operators were found with specialist interest in heritage hotels and the new venue was reborn in late 2024. Hear about the fascinating history, the trials and tribulations of a shire buying a country pub, the stresses of building a modern venue in a historic building and the lengthy and uncertain road to redeveloping this centre of the community.
