Getting Started with Embroidery
Embroidery is a craft that's woven throughout history, but it's not so common today. This workshop will introduce participants to the wonderful art of embroidery stitching.
In this workshop, you will be led by experienced members of the Embroiderers’ Guild of WA who will share their tips and tricks with you as you create your own stitching project – a vintage vase. The project combines textile collage with embroidery and is suitable of beginners as well as more experienced stitchers.
You’ll be provided with everything you need so that you can complete the project at the workshop or at home afterwards. There are 3 beginners workshops to choose from at the Wanneroo Library Services.
Participants will need to bring $10.00 cash on the day to purchase the embroidery starter kit.
