QVB History Tour

The QVB History Tour takes you on a journey to uncover a story of resilience, culture, and progress as you explore one of Sydney's most iconic historical buildings. Built in 1898 as a monument to the long reigning monarch, you will learn about the Queen Victoria Building's creation, near destruction and modern day preservation.

On this 45 min walking tour, you will discover elaborate Romanesque architectural features including glorious stained-glass windows, magnificent atriums, and the mighty centre dome, and time capsule that also holds the Queens letter to be opened in 2085 whilst exploring the inside and outside of the building as you visit the ground floor through to level two of the Queen Victoria Building.
