Share Your Story

Step into the Oral History Room, where your personal stories and memories become part of our community’s rich tapestry—record, preserve, and share your voice for future generations to enjoy!

Record your personal stories, poems, recipes, or memories in our new Oral History Room. We provide the audio recording equipment, and you bring the tales that shape our shared history. Whether it’s a cherished family recipe, a poem, a joke passed down through generations or tales of going to school, your voice adds to the rich tapestry of our community’s past.

Participants will receive an audio recording of their story either via email or USB and can choose to donate their recordings to Port Phillip Libraries Community Collection, preserving these treasured memories for future generations.

Come in, share, and be a part of local history!
