The Forgotten Four
Our exhibition will feature the works of four talented yet largely forgotten creators from Campbelltown. Learn about each person's story and marvel at their artistry.
Campbelltown has always been home to talented artists and craftspeople through the years. Our latest exhibition “The Forgotten Four” showcases four such creators: artist Steve Roach; photographer Tom Swann; glass engraver John Charles Rider; and diarist Emma Hume.
Campbelltown Library has numerous examples of these works hidden in its collection and now we will unearth them to the community.
From the beautiful and moving scenes of Tom Swann’s early twentieth century photography, to Steve’s Roach’s exquisite local sketches, through to Rider’s magnificent craftsmanship and Hume’s vivid depictions of country life, “The Forgotten Four” will leave you in awe of their wonderful talents.
