The iconic BBC show will be filmed in the beautifully preserved grounds of the National Trust’s Norman Lindsay Gallery, during the Norman Lindsay Vintage Fair, 17 May.
The BBC’s Antiques Roadshow team are heading to the Blue Mountains, with filming scheduled to take place at the historic Norman Lindsay Gallery during the Norman Lindsay Vintage Fair, on Saturday 17 May. Locals and visitors alike are invited to take part in this exciting milestone.
Have you ever wondered whether that vintage brooch passed down from a grandparent holds more than just sentimental value? Or if the painting hanging in your hallway could reveal a hidden story? Whether it’s a family heirloom, rare collectible, or a quirky garage sale find, now is your chance to discover its valuable story.
Applications are open to feature on the show. Those selected will have their treasures appraised by expert valuers during filming at the Norman Lindsay Vintage Fair.
The Vintage Fair is a vibrant celebration featuring:
- An array of market stalls showcasing vintage, retro, and collectible goods
- A display of classic vehicles from the Vauxhall Owners’ Club of Australia
- A vintage fashion parade curated by Lindy Connell of Mitchell Road Antique Centre at 12 PM
- Live music from the Flat Cap Jazz Cats
- A “Best Dressed” competition with prizes awarded at 2 PM
