Port Pirie Railway Station, Central Police Station and the Customs House.
The Port Pirie Railway Station, built in a striking Victorian Pavilion style in 1902, the Central Police Station built in 1893 and extended in 1925 and the oldest of the buildings, the Customs House built in 1882. All form part of the Port Pirie National Trust Museum.
Features include the narrow gauge steam shunting engine ‘Port Pirie’ and Diprotodon bones found in the area. An impressive Immersive Sound and Light Show in the Customs House showcases the history of Port Pirie. This is a series of films which run for approximately 40 minutes, beginning each hour.
‘Sweet Icings by JJ’ is the cafe located in the railway station, featuring great coffee and delicious treats.
