A beautiful stretch of the River Murray adjacent Overland Corner reserve and river cliffs with ancient sea creature fossils.
Dedicated in 1963 the reserve includes a stone house, formerly the Police stables, situated on a parcel of land which was given to NTSA by Mr J Cockin in 1960. Sections 12 & 13 were dedicated to NTSA in SA Government Gazette in 1963. Gazetted as Fauna Reserve ( Fauna Conservation Act (1964/5) in 1968
Refreshments, meals and other amenities are available at the nearby Overland Corner Hotel
